Moritake Arakida
(1472-1549)
An artist and sculptor, Gilles Boisvert is a recognized professional who has been exhibiting his work since 1963.
Over the years, he has had over thirty solo exhibitions in Canada and elsewhere, in a number of different galleries and museums and in particular, the Montréal Museum of Contemporary Art and the Musée du Québec.
He has also been a participant in a number of large exhibitions, notably the International Biennial Art Fair in Basel, Switzerland and at similar exhibitions in Paris and Tokyo.
In addition, he has completed some dozen monumental works, which are on permanent public display in various locations in Québec and the United States.
His
works are represented in numerous public and private collections.
He lives and works in the Laurentian Mountains, north of Montréal,
in Québec, Canada.
